1. All entries must be accompanied by a Membership or Exhibitor's Ticket.
2. Entries must be brought to the Fine Arts Building between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2007.
3. Entries will be claimed on Monday, August 6, 2007 between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
4. All works accepted must have been completed since August 1, 2006.
5. No entries will be accepted that have been shown before at the Hamilton County Fair.
6. Entries must be ORIGINAL creative work of EXHIBITOR.
7. Limit of one entry per class in Art and Photography Classes.
8. PHOTOGRAPHS must be enlargements. Snapshots (3x5 or 4x6) will not be judged.
9. All entries must be READY TO HANG. This means matted on heavy board or framed, and provided with secure hooks or wires. DO NOT USE TAPE OR ANY KIND OF GLUE. The heat in the building will melt the adhesive and the work will fall. Clamps will be used on exhibits that are not securely mounted with metal or wire hangers and nails or screws. The Hamilton County Fair will not be responsible for any damage done to exhibits not properly mounted.
10. NUDES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
11. Premiums will only be given when entries are deserving of an award.
Special rules for fair photos and artwork
1. All photographs must be taken at the Hamilton County Fair in the previous year (August, 2006). Artwork must have been completed since August, 2006.
2. Photographs and artwork must be at least 8"x 10" in size before matting or framing.
3. To be eligible for use as the Tabloid Cover, the photo or artwork must have an agricultural theme.
4. Other entries chosen (including rides, games, entertainment, food) will be used on the Fair's website (www.hamiltoncountyfair.com) with appropriate acknowledgement of the photographer or artist.
5. Entry in the contest implies permission of the artist or photographer to the directors of the Hamilton County Fair to publish the work, without remuneration.
