NEW ENTERING PROCEDURE:

Entries must be submitted on Monday, August 9, 2010 between 3:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Ribbons received and canned products may be claimed on Sunday, August 15, 2010, 1:00-5:00 p.m. No entries will be accepted without an Exhibitors or Membership ticket.

Baked goods become the property of the Hamilton County Fair.

Claim checks and exhibitors ticket must be retained by the exhibitor in order to redeem articles after the Fair. No person is allowed to make more than one entry in each class.

No entries by professionals will be accepted. (A professional is one whose occupation is to prepare foods within the category to be entered).

Commercial products and products made from mixes will not be judged except when specified.

Baked goods are to be entered on cardboard or disposable plates.

Entries will be judged equally by taste, texture, and appearance. A 1-5 scale will be used to rate each of these three qualities. Entries will be evaluated by a team of qualified judges and  all decisions are final.
