The Directors of the Hamilton County Fair would like to invite your organization
to come to the Fair -
On Wednesday, August 12, 2009, the Fair will sponsor the "Day of the Child." On this special day, admission for all children and staff will be free, and rides will be free for all children over 2 years of age and under 12 years of age. This event will take place between the hours of 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.; free parking will be available for busses/cars that will bring the children.
Bring all your children to have fun and enjoy the experience of going to the Fair.
A picnic area will be set up, so you can bring lunches and coolers, or the children
can purchase their lunch and drinks from our vendors. Free entertainment will be
a plenty with magicians, clowns, face painting, Kiddie Corner, Barnyard Bash, and
of course the exhibitions of food, vegetables, collectibles, and much more. The 4-
This year we are excited to introduce the "The Go Green" area which will give you
tons of information on being green because going green is a lifestyle not just a
trend. On the morning of the free day, expect to see companies like, Keep Cincinnati
Beautiful with prizes & free T-
Also, as you may well know, the Fair is equipped for any and all emergencies. We have our own Fire Department, a staff of paramedics, and ambulance on the grounds at all times. Our security is staffed with Hamilton County Sheriffs and a private security company.
The one thing we ask you to do is to register your organization for the "Day of the child". We will need to know how many children you will be bringing, and if anyone has special needs that need to be addressed. Please make sure all your children have name tags, so they can easily be identified with your organization.
